Handbag misery and Chocolate glory

Ive walked miles today, well Chatham and Blue Water, Dorethy Perkins dont have the sexy red suede handbag in stock yet:0(
Its a good job Ive done a lot of walking today, met up with Vikki T at BW, we stopped for a coffee! BIG MISTAKE... we went to Carluccios Italian Restaurant. I had a Bicerin - OMG this is a traditional drink from Torino - Expreso coffee, Florentine drinking chocolate and cream. The best bit is that it is served in small jugs for you to mix yourself. Ok so I did a little mixing, a little chocolate, a little cream, a little coffee... ahhhh nice BUT then the devil appeared and I proceeded to drink the chocolate on its own. Then the cream. Then the coffee! Pure decadence. I am now moving to Torino.

Guest Documents have arrived

A nice little booklet arrived today containing all the do's and don'ts. Length of time in each port, online check-in, Shore excursion info web site address, Travellers checklist, Evening Wear Planner! 8 casual nights /2 Smart casual /3 Formal (Bob is relieved only 3 formal nights!)
But I was mostly drawn to the line under Luggage Allowance -
"Although the limit on how much luggage you may take on board your cruise ship is 200lbs, there are restrictions on any flight you might take".
Were not flying! I think the weight for flying is 33lb, so 200lb sounds much better to me, definitely room for all my handbags, shoes,dresses, makeup,hair rollers etc etc. There are 3 luggage tags each, with our names on and cabin number on Deck 8. So 3 large cases for me then, mind you Bobby has a fair amount of stuff too:0)

WW 3rd week

Amazing 3 and a half off. Despite a rather filling evening round Vikki T's - Steak and Kidney pudding indeed - but it was gorgous:o) So running total 6.5 off

The point being I wouldnt need a red handbag! I had to think hard, my smile was dropping, well no I dont really wear red. But, then remembered I have a lovely Caralyn Franklyn Red Bow Blouse. Perfect! Dorethy Perkins here I come:0)

The Gym a place of pain and pleasure!

Well started going to the gym last Saturday, which was just a swim and relax really, and amazingly Vikkie who used to work with ages ago (not going to say how many years!) was in the jacuzzi so we caught up quickly and we are now gym buddies. We made another more serious attempt on Wednesday evening, Walker 20 mins, this is when I realised my recent op (gall bladder removal) had definitely taken its toll on my fitness. I was shattered, we did a few free weights and I'd had enough. Vikkie carried on whilst I cried off for a coffee (black no sugar, well sweetners!) She joined me shortly after for a coffee and then went off for a swim. I sat and read my own novel which I hadent touched for yonks, and actually quite enjoyed it, (note to myself, get writing again girl). Anyway, they say no pain no gain etc. so Im making more effort now to get fitter and Im off to the gym this afternoon, but actually the visits to the gym are quite pleasurable as well, all the sweaty blokes working out, rippling mussles everywhere. Must increase my visits! - I have to go to the gym as went to Vikki (my other friend) and Robs for dinner last night, and I just have to work it off now - naughty girl!

Skin care!

Skin care all of a sudden feels urgent, its just under 8 weeks and I will be 50. Im slapping everything on! Guinot, Estee Lauder, Arbonne, Boots new one. Just praying they make the saggy bits less saggy! Give me glowing skin without resorting to alcohol! Or maybe thats the blurred vision from being slightly pissed! OK OK more than slightly pissed:0) Well you'l just have to judge for yourselves if I achieve it once Ive posted some pics (ie got to work out how to do it!)
