For my 50th birthday I am going on the Royal Caribean ship Independance of the Seas. Its the Italian Mediterranean 14 night cruise, 26th September 2009.
Its 8 weeks to sailaway and I am starting this blog having been inspired by Around the World in 80 Dresses. Well mines just 2 weeks but I'd like to share my preperations and adventure on this blog.
My birthday is on the 29th September & in Lisbon.
Any tips will be very welcome.

Trouble making a comment?
Apparently you need to have a Google or Yahoo email account to make a comment. Im looking into this and I will set up one that people can use to log in and make a comment. Just got to work out how to do!
Well Im trying to get fit/ going to weight watchers, hopefully will loose a stone in time for my birthday cruise. Hubs has agreed to go finally, Ive been on 2 cruises QM2 and QE2 without him as he didnt want to go, but now he's agreed as its my 50th, and he's getting quite into it, but I will write more about that in my blog.
